Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by one brother, Evans Bergeron of Chauvin; one sister, Loranza Bergeron LeCompte of Chauvin; three grandchildren, Janell Fanguy Brierley of Bourg, Judith Fanguy Crochet of Chauvin and Michael Fanguy of Mt. Herman; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica Frisella, Jodi Lirette, Justin Fanguy, Joshua Fanguy, Nicole Crochet, Beau Crochet, Laci Pellegrin Melancon, Colt Pellegrin and Chelsi Brierley; and two great-great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Frisella and Kylie Lirette. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Blanchard Bergeron; his parents, Gustave Bergeron Sr. and Aliska Henry Bergeron; one daughter, Adeline Dupre Fanguy; six brothers, Gustave Bergeron Jr., Stanley Bergeron, Alger Bergeron, Clifton Bergeron, Clement Bergeron and Alvin Pellegrin; and two sisters, Venez Bergeron Robichaux and Cecile Bergeron Martin. He is survived his wife, Nell Gaudet Zeringue; five sons, Ralph, Ray, Charles "Charlie", Robert and Brian Zeringue; two daughters, Patricia Toups and Irene Verret; one brother, Euel Zeringue Sr.; one sister, Emilie Champagne; 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
