Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at the Veterans League Home, 350 S. Van Ave. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the home, with burial in Veterans Park. He is survived by his companion, Shirley Guidry; three daughters, Kathy Blanchard of Carmel, Calif., Evelyn Pellegrin of Moss Point, Miss.; Donna Authement and husband, Danny Authement Sr., of Spencer, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Price Blanchard; three brothers, Rannie, Henri and Raymond; and one sister, Villa Robichaux. He was a veteran of World War II, lifetime member of VFW Post 7755, Disabled American Veterans, lifetime member of American Legion Post 380 of Chauvin, a charter member of Veterans Park Inc. and lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He served in the Houma Police Department and Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.
