Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Trahan Pierre of Houma; two sons Joseph Pierre and wife, Rachel, of Houma, and Mike Pierre and wife, Cindy, of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Veronica Pellegrin and husband, Ricky, of Houma; one brother, Harry Pierre of Houma; one sister, Clara Parfait and husband, James, of Houma; eight grandchildren, Jamie Pierre and wife, Anna, Rosalyn Boudreaux and husband, Craig, Jaclyn Billiot, and Hilary, Michalla, Kevin, Christina and Sarah Pierre; four great-grandchildren, Beau and Luke Pierre and Caleb and Dagon Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lena Francis Pierre; one son, Fernand Pierre; one brother, Junius Pierre. He was a parishioner of Grand Caillou Baptist Church. He was a retired self-employed fisherman. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
