Doris Lirette

Doris B. Lirette, 81, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Cut Off, died at 
5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Cut Off, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by seven sons, Willie, David, Wayne, Thomas, Alan, Don and Brian 
Lirette; four daughters, Leanna Fontenot, Linda Guidry, Gail Thibodaux and 
Brenda Pitre; one stepdaughter, Diane Richard; three brothers, Ivy Blanchard 
Jr., and Ridley and Gerald Blanchard; two sisters, Marguerite Naquin and Berta 
Landry; 37 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and 18 
step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Cedatol Sr.; her second 
husband, Calvin Lirette; her parents, Ivy Sr. and Lydia Landry Blanchard; one 
daughter, Lydia Ann Cedatol; one brother, Donald Blanchard; and two sisters, 
Vivian Daigle and Audrey Jordan.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
