Dorothy Austin

Dorothy Breaux Austin, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 7 a.m. 
Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Peter D. Austin Sr.; one son, Peter D. Austin 
Jr.; four daughters, Dorothy M. Lagarde, Kathleen A. Champagne, Wanda M. Talbot 
and Tena M. Babin; one sister, Audry B. Brupbacher; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-
grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emile Breaux and Alida Foret Breaux; 
and one sister, Cressie B. Lirette.

She was a member of St. Mary's Ladies Altar Society and a parishioner of St. 
Mary's Catholic Church.
