Edwina Bourgeois

Edwina Navarre Bourgeois, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 12:40 
p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with 
burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Robert, Stanley and William Bourgeois; six 
daughters, Doris Daigle, Helen Morgan, Linda Morgan, Sue Phillips, Penny Ridley 
and Beverly Bourgeois; four sisters, Winnie Chaisson, Theresa Daigle, Gladys 
Oncale and Hazel Himel; 27 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcide Bourgeois; her parents, Noah 
Navarre and Clercie Naquin Navarre; one son, Allen Bourgeois Sr.; one daughter, 
Peggy Bourgeois; two brothers, Whitney and Charles Navarre; and one great-
grandchild, Megan Williams.
