Elton Anderson Ross Jr., 21, a native of New Orleans and resident of Thibodaux, 
died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Allen Chapel AME 
Church in Thibodaux. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Sadie Ross Meads of Morgan City; three daughters, 
Nala Southall, Na-Ishea Southall and Na-Kayla Southall, all of Thibodaux; four 
brothers, Robert and Raymond Ross of Thibodaux, Derrick Harris and Sedric 
Williams of Mississippi; two step-brothers, Qwent and Terrell Meads of 
Labadieville; six sisters, Jaundlyn M. Ross of Atlanta, Shentell L. Ross of 
Morgan City, Laquita M. Ross and Catric Triggs of Thibodaux, Lyshandre Harris 
and Kannetha Brown of Pickens, Miss.; and one step-sister, Nikki Meads of 
Labadieville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Anderson; and his grandparents, 
Stella and Robert Ross.

He was Baptist.
