Gerald Marcantel

Gerald J. "Jerry" Marcantel, 62, a native of Lafayette and resident of 
Thibodaux, died at 3:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux 
and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Mass will 
be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory 
Cemetery in Baton Rouge.

He is survived by his mother, Amynthe C. Marcantel; one son, Gerald Marcantel; 
one daughter, Angele M. Druen; one brother, Michael Marcantel; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Idiol J. Marcantel.
