Gilbert Auseve Sr.

Gilbert Joseph Auseve Sr., 82, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Galliano, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004.

Visitation will be from 4 to 11 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday 
at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lorida Champagne Auseve; two sons, Gilbert "Jay" 
Auseve Jr. and Darren Anselmi; one brother, Roy Anselmi; five sisters, Lorida 
Rogers, Leona Guidry, Austreda Collins, Clauodet Duet and Verda Guidroz; four 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexson and Angelina Guidry Anselmi; 
one son, Donald Anselmi; one brother, Fedless Anselmi; and one sister, Leoda 
Anselmi Williams.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
