Harold Rome

Harold Joseph Rome, 72, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died at 10:25 
p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Assembly of God 
Church in Des Allemands. Services will be at noon Wednesday at the church, with 
burial in Mennonite Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Rousseau Rome; one son, Randy Rome Sr.; 
two stepsons, Dudley and Douglas Rousseau; six daughters, Linda Kraemer, Kathie 
Mancuso, Della Guilliot, Cindy Candies, Bonnie Baudoin and Tammy Loupe; three 
stepdaughters, Laura Mae Coupel, Marie Luquette and Gloria Matherne; one 
sister, Agatha Falgoust; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 31 step-
grandchildren; and 18 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isai Rome and Lauralie Folse Rome; 
four brothers, Chester, Gracien, Oronce and Hopson Rome; two sisters, Irene 
Frazier and Elvige Folse; two grandsons, Christopher Baudoin and Baby Loupe; 
one step-grandson, Rodney Dufrene Jr.; and one step-granddaughter, Melinda 
Coupel.
