Hewitt Thibodeaux					[Photo]


Hewitt "Doo" Thibodeaux, 83, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 4:30 
p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Little Caillou Baptist 
Mission in Chauvin. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with 
burial in St. Elie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Iola Blanchard Thibodeaux; five sons, Elmore 
Thibodeaux and wife, Margaret, Raleigh Thibodeaux and wife, Cindy, Gerald 
Thibodeaux and companion, Sherry, Gene Thibodeaux and wife, Rachel, and Laddie 
Thibodeaux; one daughter, Felicia Harper and husband, Charles; one brother, Roy 
Thibodeaux; one sister, Ouida Lecompte; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul A. and Felicia Henry Thibodeaux; 
and four sisters, Hazel Robicheaux, Stella Neal, Della Fanguy and Bella Fanguy.

He was Baptist.
