The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= August 20. 2004 12:00AM Hilda Remy [Photo] Hilda Marie Crowley Remy, 95, a native of New York and resident Lockport, died at 1:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2004. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Monastery of the Heart of Jesus in Lockport, with burial in the family plot in Massachusetts. She is survived by five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. Remy; her parents, William H. Crowley and Anna M. Crowley; one son, Albert W. Remy; one daughter, Sister Marie Therese, O.P., nee Remy; two brothers, William H. Crowley Jr. and James Crowley; two sisters, Anna M. Crowley Carter and Julia A. Crowley Talbot; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Remy. She was a homemaker and teacher of catechism and first perpetually professed member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapter of Dominican Laity. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Dominican Contemplative Sisters of Lockport or Bayou Region Hospice of Houma.
