Jean Dufrene						[Photo]

Jean Prejean Dufrene, 65, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Aug. 23, 
2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 
the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by her parents, Clay Prejean and Bernice Lebouef Prejean; one 
son, Lucius Dufrene and wife, Crystal, of New Iberia; two daughters, Nyla 
Prestenbach and husband, Kevin Sr., of Houma and Nedra Dufrene; her caregivers, 
Janet Santoy, Lois Domangue, Yvonne Lebouef, Ashley Strickland and Sylvia 
Naquin; and seven grandchildren, Jenny, Kevin Jr. and Eva Prestenbach, Lindsey 
and Katelyn Dufrene and Nickey and Brandon Porrier.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Emery Dufrene.

She was a Wal-Mart employee for 18 years and was a parishioner of St. Bernadette 
Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
