Jeannette Smotherman

Jeannette Devillier Smotherman, 57, a native of Breaux Bridge and resident of 
Larose, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth "Kenny" Smotherman; one son, Jessie 
James Devillier; one brother, Alvin "A.J." Devillier; three sisters, Cathy Eddy, 
Linda Eschette and Doris Devillier; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin H. and Celeste Dupuis Devillier; 
one son, Jacques R. Devillier; and two sisters, Helen Galjour and Nellie 
Cantrelle.
