Jerry "Big Jerry" John Cadiere Sr., 52, a native of Dularge and resident of 
Houma, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma 
and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Eloi Catholic Church in 
Dularge. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elvira "Vera" Trahan Cadiere; one son, Jerry J. 
Cadiere Jr. and wife, Bonnie; three daughters, Tina C. David and husband, 
Dennis, Heidi Cadiere and Laura Lee C. Thomas and husband, Tim; four brothers, 
Joseph Turner, Ronald, Godfrey Jr. and Henry Cadiere; four sisters, Yvonne 
Rodrigue, Shirley Goodwin, Brenda Cadiere and Verla Sonnier; and 11 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Godfrey Sr. and Ophelia "Marie" 
Gregoire Cadiere; four brothers, Anthony, Richard "Big Dog," Barry and Tony 
Cadiere.

He was a member of Eastside Dart League and was Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for services are preferred.
