Larry Lloyd Wells, 22, a native of Bogalusa and resident of Mt. Hermon, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, while stationed in Iraq. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tylertown, Miss., with burial in Mt. Hermon Cemetery. He is survived by his stepparents, Michael and Joni Fanguy of Mt. Hermon; three brothers and spouse, Christopher Wells, Chad Wells and wife, Andrea, of Mandeville, and Billy Wells of Bogalusa; four sisters and spouses, Chasity George and Alex, of New Orleans, Crystal Wells of Bogalusa and Ashley and Kayle Wells, both of Enon; two step-brothers, Joshua Fanguy of Houma and Justin Fanguy of Mt. Hermon; two step-sisters and spouses, Jessica and Joey Frisella and Jodi and Scott Lirette, all of Houma; four nephews, Daniel, Rene' and Paul George and Luke Lirette; and three nieces, Caydence Wells, Gabrielle Frisella and Kylie Lirette. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wells; and his grandparents, Lloyd Wells and Lois Miller Wells. He was an E-3 in the United States Marine Corps. He was a rifleman assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit of the I Marine Expeditionary Force based in Camp Pendleton, Calif. This was his second tour of duty in Iraq. Craine Funeral Home in Franklinton is in charge of arrangements.
