Laura Pitre

Laura Mae Josephine Pitre, 69, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano, 
died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Leopaul Pitre; two sons, David Paul Pitre and 
James Joseph Pitre; five daughters, Sara Spurr, Anne Pitre, Jane Galjour, 
Margaret Pitre and Tina Hebert; two brothers, Roy and Herbert Curole; four 
sisters, Rose Rousse, Velma Bennett, Betty Guidry and Janette Garison; 10 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ecton and Edith Curole Sr.; and two 
brothers, Elmo and Ecton Curole Jr.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
