Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Magnus Antoine Authement of Chauvin; two sons, Eddie Authement and wife, Mary, and Chris Authement and wife, Mary, of Houma; three daughters, Elaine Fonville and husband, Earl, of Gray, Belinda Comeaux and former husband, Lee Roy, of Bourg, and Linda Theriot and husband, Kenneth, of Chauvin; 15 grandchildren, Terry Authement, raised as her own, Pam Hills, Mary Gautreaux, Rachel Bergeron, Morty Authement, Mickie Theriot, Emily White, Katherine Voisin, Christine Theriot, Courtney Authement, Corey Authement, Gary Comeaux, Jeremy Authement, Laura Comeaux and Christopher Authement; and eight great-grandchildren, Justin Gautreaux, Angel Theriot, Jonathon Theriot, Sarah Gautreaux, Grant Authement, Spencer Bergeron, Bricelyn White and Lily Authement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Authement and Loulie Eva Gautreaux Authement; her stepfather, Willis Joseph Benoit; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Authement; seven brothers, Bernard, Anthony, Nolese and Lionel Authement and Magnus, Tonis and Wallace Benoit; and three sisters, Doris Authement, Normandy White and Viola Leonard. She was a beloved housewife and mother. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
