Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Greater New Salem Baptist Church. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Southdown Cemetery. He is survived by his fiancee', Georgette Washington; his parents, Annette Banks and Malcolm Barry Johnson; three sons, Malcolm Patton, Ahmad Patton and Hershell Banks, all of New Orleans; two stepsons, Yaseen McKinley and Tyrell Robinson, both of Houma; one stepdaughter, Yazmeen Scott of Houma; five brothers, James, Maurice and Darnell Banks, all of Houma, Malcolm and Thurmon Johnson, both of New Orleans; and three sisters, Rose Marie Johnson of New Orleans, Lashonda Banks and Anita Banks, both of Houma. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and Candice Johnson; and two uncles, Isaac Banks and Ricky Johnson. He was Baptist. Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
