Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Claude J. Orgeron Jr.; two sons, Timothy Orgeron Sr. and wife, Nola, and Steven Orgeron and Arlene; two daughters, Emily Ann Matherne and husband, Kenneth, and Michelle Pierce Ortiz; three brothers, Henry, Gilbert and Gibson Buquet; two sisters, Alice Lopez and Delphine Woolesy; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enest J. and Emily J. Pierce Buquet; one infant daughter; and one great-grandchild, Abigail Rene Williams. She was a homemaker and was Catholic. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred.
