Maxine Authement

Maxine Mary Authement, 56, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Golden Meadow, 
died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial in 
Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Jimmy Dufrene Jr. and wife, Shelly; one daughter, 
Lisa D. Duet and husband, Darrel; one sister, Tammy Bruce and husband, Jules 
Sr.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dufrene Sr.; her parents, 
Sterling and Elise Lafont Authement; one son, Tony W. Thompson; and one 
grandson, Braden Dufrene

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
