Felarise, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, died at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Terrebonne Felarise; three sons, Douglas, Sullivan and Kirt Felarise; three stepsons, Daniel, Jade and Jason Barrios; two daughters, Nora Thibodaux and Debra Delatte; two stepdaughters, Loretta Domangue and Jennifer Guidry; two brothers, Jimmy and Gilbert Felarise; three sisters, Evella "Bell" Cheramie, Laura Mae Bergeron and Inez "Bee" Guidry; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and six step- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand Jr. and Alanna Cheramie Felarise; one stepson, Robert Crochet; one brother, Eserman Felarise; one sister, Enola Guidry; one grandchild, Kirt Felarise Jr.; one step-grandchild, Toby Arceneaux; one great-grandchild, Caitlyn Lee; and one step-great- grandchild, Jaycee St. Pierre. He was a retired employee of Griffin Boat Company and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for Masses are preferred.
