Randy James Labit, 44, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:15 a.m. Thurs-
day, Aug. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to service time Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home. 
Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel.

He is survived by his parents, Leon J. Labit and Helen Authement Labit of Houma; 
one daughter, Amanda Lynn Labit of Houma; two brothers, Ricky Paul Labit and 
wife, Kimberly Gallicio Labit, and Ronnie Jerome Labit and companion, Betty 
Spradlin, of Houma; one sister, Rhonda Claire LeCompte and husband, Barry P. 
LeCompte Sr., of Houma; his grandmother, Marie DuBois Labit Breaux of Houma; two 
nieces, Lacey LeCompte Lirette and husband, Joseph Lirette, and Lindsey Marie 
Phillips; four nephews, Barry Paul LeCompte Jr., Leonard James Labit, Richard 
Quinton Labit and Robert Leon Joseph Labit; and one great-niece, Madison Triston 
Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon P. Labit, Edward Authement 
Sr. and Ruth Bourg Authement.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
