The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= August 09. 2004 12:57PM Reginald Fanguy Sr. [Photo] Reginald "Reggie" Fanguy Sr., 70, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, died at 10:24 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Pinel Fanguy; three sons, Terry and wife, Debra, Rusty and companion, Stacey, and Reginald Jr. and wife, Annette; three daughters, Mona Fanguy and companion, Randy Greer, Tina Fanguy and Trudy Labat and husband, Steve; two sisters, Della Theriot and Rita Authement; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Naquin; his father, Sylvester Fanguy; four brothers, Celestin "Boy", Ardis "Dis", Jessie and Dudley Fanguy; and one sister, Alberta F. Martin. He was a carpenter with Fanguy Brothers, worked for Sheriff's Office Terrebonne Parish and retired deputy Marshall's officer of 16 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for medical expenses are preferred. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
