Robert Bourg						[Photo]

Robert "Bob" Francis Bourg, 87, a native and resident of Hou-ma, died at 12:32 
p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Gregory 
Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Marie Rhodes Bourg of Houma; one son, Thomas 
"Tom" E. Bourg of Baton Rouge; and one grandson, Matthew Robert Bourg of Baton 
Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Magnus Bourg and Elena Elizabeth 
Chauvin Bourg; two sons, Robert Francis Bourg Jr. and Phillip John Bourg; one 
brother, Henry "Hal" Bourg Jr.; and three sisters, Dorothy Vilavaso, Mae Bourg 
and Ruth Bourg.

He was a retired city clerk with the City of Houma for 47 years and was a U.S. 
Army veteran of World War II.

He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
