Ruth Toups

Ruth Peyregne Toups, 79, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Luling, died 
at 6:56 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 until funeral time Monday at the Holy Family Church in 
Luling. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial to follow in 
St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

She is survived by her husband, Carl J. Toups; two sons, Bryon and Troy Toups; 
three daughters, Lydia McCombs, Gretchen McDonald and Kayla Danos; three 
sisters, Lillie Mae Boyer, Janella Brady and Marilyn Roberts; and six 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Jeanne Dugas Peyregne; one 
brother, Noble Peyregne; and three sisters, Dorothy Rensberger, Dora Eusea and 
Jeanne Laque.

She was Catholic.
