Shirley Aucoin

Shirley "Ezra" Aucoin, 72, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, died 
at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady 
of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Wayne, Ricky, Timmy and Chris Gros of Thibodaux; 
three daughters, Cynthia G. Naquin of Des Allemands, Peggy Gros of Thibodaux 
and Julie G. Ellis of Natchez, Miss.; two brothers, Harvey Clement of Chackbay 
and Manuel Clement of Houma; two sisters, Gloria Crochet of Houma and Doris 
Barrios of Thibodaux; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Aucoin Jr.; her parents, 
Clerfe and Rose Gros Clement; one daughter, Susan G. Peltier; three brothers, 
Herbert, Ashton and Nolan Clement; and one sister, Nora Clement.
