Shirley Baye

Shirley Trosclair Baye, 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 3:17 
p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. John the 
Evangelist Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Jr. and wife, Jessica, Baye and Chuck Baye; 
two daughters, Christine and husband, Tommy, McGehee, and Jeanne and husband, 
Terry, Autin; one sister, Betty Prejean; eight grandchildren, Joel, Bennett, 
Ryan and Lauren Baye, Vern and Brett McGehee, and Sean and Gregory Autin; and 
one great-grandchild, Taylor Baye.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Baye Sr.; her parents, 
George Trosclair and Jeanne Soignet Trosclair; five brothers, Irion, Cecil, 
Carl, Ray and Larry Trosclair; and two sisters, Theresa Fonseca and Myrtle St. 
Marie.

She was a member of St. John Altar Society. She also volunteered at St. John 
Catholic Church by being a bulletin folder and an Eucharistic minister.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
