Sidney Adams

Sidney H. Adams, 85, a native of Patterson and resident of Luling, died at 
10:05 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at First Baptist Church 
in Luling. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with 
burial in St. Charles Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Kinler Adams; two daughters, Shelley Gaudet 
and Bobbie Rae Sweeney; one brother, Darrel Adams; two sisters, Doyle Stromer 
and Amy Champagne; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Corinne Landry Adams; one 
brother, Benny J. Adams; and three sisters, Blanche Stoufflet, Willena "Billie" 
Bigler and Ione Roberts.

He was a member of the V.F.W. Post No. 3750 of Luling and Operator Engineers 
Local No. 406.
