The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= August 12. 2004 12:00AM Sidney Hebert [Photo] Sidney Charles Hebert, 64, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his former wife, Emma Kelly of Dulac; one son, Charles Michael Hebert of Dulac; one daughter, Tina Marie Hebert Guidry and husband, Randy Guidry Sr., of Dulac; one brother, Myron Hebert; one sister, Ethel Luke; five grandchildren, Kym, Kacey and Randy Guidry Jr., of Dulac, Caine Hebert of Baker and Whitney Garrison of Houma; and five great-grandchildren, Kayla Martinez, Austin Guidry, Blayze Guidry and Sage Sidney Michelle Guidry, all of Dulac, and Alyssa Whitney of Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Hebert and Mary Bourg Hebert; four brothers, Ernest, Walton, Anthony and Vernon Hebert; and three sisters, Ester Maronge, Anna Mae Hebert and Zelta Hebert. He was a retired charter fishing guide and a fisherman. He was Catholic. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bayou Region Hospice. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
