Victor Duet

Victor J. Duet, 84, a native and resident of Galliano, died at noon Sunday, Aug. 
15, 2004.

Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with 
burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Udora Danos Duet; two daughters, Corina D. Curole 
and Winola D. Martin; one brother, George Duet; three sisters, Cleonise 
Cheramie, Clarise Duet and Mae Doucet; five grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Filicien and Louise Guidry Duet; four 
sons; nine brothers, Filicien, Donatien, Ozeme, Zeweb, Leon, Leander, Nolan, 
Almate and Amae Duet; and three sisters, Louise Bellanger, Lionell Smith and 
Victoria Blanchard.

He was a retired boat captain and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
