No services are scheduled. He is survived by four sons, E.J. Dugas Jr. and wife, Cheryl, Ronald Dugas and wife, Julie, Donald Dugas of Houma and Rondell Hugh "Ronnie" Pate; two daughters, Darlene Pitre and husband, Kirk, and Ann Normand and husband, Phillip, of Houma; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Breaux Pate; his parents, Wendell Holmes Pate and Jundice May Thorton Pate; two brothers, Glynn Pate and Darwood McGinty; and two sisters, Belva Sue Pate and May Lynn Pate. He was a retired buggy driver with Marsh Equipment and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
