Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pearl Gregoire Parfait of Houma; three sons, Joseph "Mike" Parfait, Antoine Clarence Parfait Jr. and wife, Pam, of Houma, and Rodney Paul Parfait Sr. and wife, Nicole, of Dulac; one foster son, John J. Silver of Houma; three daughters, Gracie Ann Parfait Verdin and husband, Paul, Lucretia "Baby Doo" Parfait, and Maxine Ann Parfait and fiancé, Randy Lyons, of Houma; two brothers, Kirvin Parfait of Dulac, and Oris Parfait of Houma; one sister, Clara Parfait Dion of Houma; and 19 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Kevin, Nicole, Kyle, Paul and Jeremy Parfait, Rodney Parfait Jr., Antoine Parfait III, Stacie Gautreaux, Stephanie and Jason Verdin, Chad, John and Phillip Silver, Alexis and Alicia Robichaux, Sadie and Derek Billiot; and five great-grandchildren, Shea, Megan and Tyler Gautreaux, and Camryn and Zowie Silver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alidore and Frances Parfait; one brother, Irvin Parfait; three sisters, Lucretia and Joyce Parfait and Hazel Foret; and one daughter-in-law, Pamela Duplantis. He was a retired fisherman and a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. He belonged to the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese Cursillo. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
