Arthur Singleton Sr.

Arthur Singleton Sr., 87, a native of Amelia and resident of Morgan City, died 
at 7:25 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at the Church of God of Prophecy in 
Patterson, with burial in Morgan City Cemetery.

He is survived by four sons, Ernest Singleton and Lloyd Singleton, both of 
Morgan City, and Russell and Arthur Singleton, both of Gibson; one brother, 
Herbert Singleton of Morgan City; two sisters, Martha Joseph of Thibodaux and 
Dorothy Bolden of Morgan City; 35 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
