Connie Sue Dupre Mire, 47, a native and resident of Houma, died at 3:50 a.m. 
Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 
a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 
10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 
2.

She is survived by her husband, James J. Mire of Houma; her parents, Camille 
Joseph Dupre Jr. and Betty Martin Dupre of Houma; one son, Steven Mire of Houma; 
one daughter, Cindy Mire Marcel of Houma; two brothers, David Dupre and wife, 
Angela, and Daniel Dupre and wife, Eldine, of Houma; three sisters, Gwen Eaton 
and husband, Gregory, Darlene Buquet and husband, Gilbert Buquet Jr., and Diane 
Fitzgerald and husband, Micheal, of Houma; one grandchild, Devin Mire; her 
grandparents, Camille and Irene Theriot Dupre of Houma; and loved by many nieces 
and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence Martin and Lula Mae 
Martin.

She was a clerk at Winn Dixie and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic 
Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
