Evelyn Theriot

Evelyn Matherne Theriot, 78, a native of Gheens and resident of Cut Off, died at 
8:13 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9:15 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Ernest Theriot Jr. and Perry Theriot; two sons-in-
law, Don Arabie and Earl Tregre; two daughters, Beverly Arabie and June Tregre; 
one daughter-in-law, Paulette Theriot; one brother, Sidney Matherne; five 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four grandchildren-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Theriot Sr.; her parents, Felix 
and Adele Hebert Matherne; four brothers, Felecien, Felix Jr., Antoine and 
Johnny Matherne; and five sisters, Adele LeBouef, Adelina Perez, Adelise 
LeBouef, Adelia Plaisance and Mathild Daigle.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
