Howard Ernest Shultis Jr., 47, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Monday, 
Sept. 20, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Samart Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
funeral home, with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Ernest H. and Pearly LeBouef Shultis; and one 
brother, Curtis Joseph Shultis.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel Laura and Ernest R. Shultis 
and Walton Joseph and Hattie Hutchinson LeBouef; and his step-grandparents, 
Irving Weed, Lorine Authement LeBouef and Gloria LeBouef Shultis.

He was a crab fisherman and served in the U.S. Air Force and was an entertainer 
in the Air Force.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred.
