Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Louis Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gayle Comeaux Bonvillain of Houma; two daughters, Rebecca B. Hotard and husband, Daniel, and Tracey Bonvillain of Houma; three brothers, Jesse, Ray and Tommy Bonvillain of Houma; and five sisters, Jean B. Collins, Janet B. Matherne, Linda B. Dupre, Jill B. Chambers of Houma and Amy B. James of Thibodaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy John Bonvillain Sr. and Velma Marie Boudreaux Bonvillain; and two brothers, Phillip and Travis Bonvillain. He was a bulk plant operator with B.J. Services and a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
