Jody F. Oliveira Morris, 42, a native of Houston and resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Christian Assembly 
Church in Schriever. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Heather Mae Lynn Morris of Ponce de Leon, Fla.; 
two sons, Chase Thompson Morris of Ponce de Leon and Preston Louis Morris of 
Houma; her mother, Joann Jaccuzzo Thibodeaux of Gray; one brother, Cody Oliveira 
of Memphis, Tenn.; one grandchild, Amylia Danielle Pringle of Ponce de Leon; and 
numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Oliveira; her stepfather, Enos 
Thibodeaux Sr.; and her grandparents, Johnny and Dorothy Jaccuzzo and George Sr. 
and Emily Oliveira.

She was employed at High Tide's Sports Bar as a hostess for nine years and was 
known as Big Mama to all.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
