Laura Guidry

Laura Lefort Guidry, 75, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, 
died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart Funeral Home. 
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Cheramie 
Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Guidry; two brothers, Norman and Andrew 
Lefort Jr.; four sisters, Doris Lefort, Lorraine Pierce, Audrey Burkett and Mae 
Ann Danos; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabry Guidry; her parents, Andrew Sr. 
and Benisia Gaspard Lefort; one brother, Rudy Lefort; and two sisters, Norma 
Plaisance and Oletta Autin.

She was a volunteer worker for the Catholic Community Center in Galliano and was 
a homemaker.
