Leroy Smith						[photo]

Leroy Smith, 50, a native of Raceland and resident of West Feliciana Parish, 
died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, with burial in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by one daughter, Cherokee Davis of Raceland; seven sisters, Rosa 
Nell Smith of Lockport, Viola Rushing and Barbara Alexander of Houston, Lenora 
Smith, Audrey Jones, Ola Brown and Mary Thomas of Raceland; two brothers, Philip 
Smith of Kenner and Monroe Smith Jr. of New Orleans; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leola and Monroe Smith Sr.

He was Baptist.
