The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= September 17. 2004 12:00AM Lloyd Guidry Lloyd Andrew Guidry, 85, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Anna Boyne Guidry of Houma; one stepson, Lawrence Guidry and wife, Yvonne, of Houston; two stepdaughters, Mary E. Falgout and Annette "Bitty" Colwart and husband, James, of Houma; two brothers, Lee Guidry and Charles Guidry of Houma; one sister, Pearl Porche of Houma; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Guidry and Olga Duplantis Guidry; one stepson-in-law, Raymond Falgout; five brothers, Rudolph, Ralph, Samson, Elwood James and Raoul Guidry; and one sister, Lois Southern. He was a retired roustabout and was a U.S. Army veteran in World War II. He was a past member of the V.F.W. and American Legion and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
