Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Bridget Church Cemetery in Schriever. She is survived by one son, Francis James of Racine, Wis.; two sisters, Marie J. Washington of Gray and Gertrude J. Celestin of Houma; one brother, Morris James of Chicago; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Alberta Toups James; one son, Phillip Ruthledge; and three brothers, Herman Lewis, Raymond and Clarence James. She was a parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church.
