Roland Tastet						[Photo]

Roland Joseph Tastet Sr., 66, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of 
Lockport, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Holy Savior Catholic 
Church in Lockport. Services will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

He is survived by his father, Robert J. Tastet; two sons, Roland J. Tastet Jr. 
and wife, Stephanie, and Joseph P. Tastet and wife, Stacy; one brother, Roy 
Tastet; one sister, Rosemary Tastet; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Curole Tastet.

He was Catholic and retired from Valentine Sugars after 34 years.
