Rosadell Fry						[photo]

Rosadell Simmons "Rosalie" Fry, 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident 
of Montegut, died at 7:28 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. to service time Saturday at St. Peter Baptist Church in Montegut. Religious 
services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Bisland 
Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Earl Daniel Fry Sr.; four brothers, Benjamin Simmons 
Sr. of Montegut, Rodney, Daniel Simmons Jr. and wife, Gertrude, of Gray, and 
Henry Simmons Sr. and wife, Audrey; four sisters, Dorothy Ross and husband, 
Allen, of Gray, Gloria VanBuren, Helena Allen and Dianne Simmons of Montegut; 
one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Fry Jr.; her parents, Daniel 
Simmons Sr. and Helena Taylor Simmons; one grandson, Elijah Fry; three brothers, 
Albert Sr., Joseph and Danny Simmons; and one sister, Mary S. VanBuren.

She was a homemaker, a 17-year member of Neal Ransonet Senior Center and 61 
years senior choir member.

She was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church.
