Roy Belanger Sr.

Roy Charles Belanger Sr., former resident of Houma and resident of Gulfport, 
Miss., died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in 
Gulfport and from 11:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. John Catholic 
Church in Gulfport. Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial in Biloxi National Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, June Belanger of Gulfport; one daughter, Susan 
Goggins of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; two sons, Roy Belanger Jr. of San Jose, Calif., 
and Stephen Belanger of Marietta, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Theriot of Houma, 
Beverly Lirette of Slidell and Miriam Price of Houston; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Howard Belanger and Emerode 
Belanger; and three brothers, Leonard, Roland and Harold Belanger.

He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and was a radio operator in the Marine Air 
Corp. where he served in the Virgin Islands and China.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations to the American Cancer Society, 417 
Security Square, Gulfport, MS. 39507 are preferred.
