Ruby Bohannon						[Photo]

Ruby Thomas Bohannon, 75, a native of Laredo, Texas, and resident of Houma, died 
at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 10 a.m. 
Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories 
Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Gwenda Thomas Martin and husband, David Alan 
Martin, of Houma; five grandchildren, Wendy Thomas Rotolo, Jason Wayne Thomas, 
Kristen Leigh Martin, Jared Wade Martin and Brad Thomas Martin; three great-
grandchildren, Elise Gabrielle Martin, Matthew Allen Rotolo and Joshua Thomas 
Rotolo; and a host of loving adopted grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, Billy Bohannon Sr.; her first 
husband, J.W. Thomas; her parents, Harry Boyer and Beatrice Stringfield Boyer; 
and one son, Larry Wayne Thomas.

She was a former realtor, a broker and owner of Thomas Real Estate for 32 years.

She was a member of the Houma Oil Wives, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Bayou 
Board of Realtors and a member of First Baptist Church of Houma.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
