Ruther Brown						[Photo]

Ruther Mae Elam Brown, 64, a native of East Baton Rouge and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church in Thibodaux. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Brown of Thibodaux; her father, Joseph 
Elam of Geismer; one daughter, Sherrie Brown Streams of Thibodaux; one son, 
Johnny Brown of Thibodaux; one sister, Evelyn Dangerfield of Thibodaux; one 
brother, Milton T. White of Gray; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara White.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
