Stanley J. "Phonse" Dover Jr., 82, a native of Bayou Dularge and resident of 
Houma, died at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday 
at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Floy Boudreaux Dover of Houma; one daughter, Bonnie 
Dover Callahan and husband, Michael J. Callahan, of Houma; three grandchildren, 
Michelle Callahan Eschete and husband, Joel P. Eschete, Ronnie J. Dover and 
wife, Misty Lirette Dover, and Roland A. Dover and wife, Carla Sword Dover; and 
five great-grandchildren, Josie Eschete, Jace Eschete, Mikie Dover, Baylee Dover 
and Paige Dover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley J. Dover Sr. and Mary Bourgeois 
Dover; one son, Ronnie S. Dover; one brother, Allen J. Dover; and one sister, 
Merill Dover Guidry.

He was a retired gauger/tanker with Texaco and was a U.S. Army veteran of World 
War II.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
