Willie Kennedy

Willie Mae Owens Kennedy, 76, a native of Lena and resident of Gheens, died at 
3:12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2004.

The funeral will be at 8 a.m. today at Gheens Presbyterian Church, with 
visitation to follow until noon. Burial will be at Epps Cemetery in Epps.

She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Kennedy; two sons, William and 
Charles (Terry) Kennedy; one daughter, Jeanette Freeman; two brothers, Selmon 
and Todd Owens; one sister, Lovia Mosley; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Marie Beebe Owens; one 
brother, Elmer Owens; and one sister, Gladys Owens.
